The beaches north of the fishing village of Nazare offer a stunning natural landscape embraced by one of the most extensive pine forests in Portugal.
With sands to lose sight of, this area of Silver Coast Portugal is known for its beautiful beaches, and the connection to the sea is present in much of what is the local culture and gastronomy of the villages that have flourished along the coast.
Without the highly populated density or tourist demand of other areas of Portugal, the coastline north of Nazare offers a relatively tranquil lifestyle, where it is possible to become part of the community and enjoy the best of this region, also known as "the real Portugal".
Among the biggest attractions of this area are its traditional Portuguese restaurants, where seafood and fish are as fresh as it gets, and a wide variety of water sports and leisure activities.
