From lockdown to life-changing: The story behind the Podcast
Hosted by Dylan Herholdt, who is also Sales Director at Portugal Realty, the podcast was launched in March 2020, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. It began as a way to connect people who couldn’t physically meet.
With a warm voice and genuine curiosity, Dylan started recording conversations with expats, locals and experts to share what life in Portugal is really like.

What started as a COVID project quickly grew into a thriving global community for anyone considering a move to Portugal.
Almost 300 episodes later, and hundreds of hours recorded, the podcast is well into its third season, having featured guests from all walks of life and nationalities. Families, retirees, digital nomads and entrepreneurs who’ve chosen Portugal as their home, but also proud Portuguese who share their unique local perspective.
